Belfast hot sauce, the way it should be. Small batches, real ingredients, no shortcuts. Started in a kitchen in 2014 and stubbornly stayed that way.

Tim couldn't find a hot sauce worth eating. The supermarket shelves were full of stuff that was either gimmick-hot or dressed-up ketchup. So he made his own.
A green one first herbs, jalapeño, a whisper of ghost chilli. Friends asked for jars. Then friends of friends. Within a year, Blackfire was being made in proper kitchens. Now it's in stockists across the UK, Ireland and Europe and still made in small batches in Northern Ireland.
If it doesn't taste good, it doesn't matter how hot it is.
